Am I not black enough for you?

Now, I know my last post discussed someone being too black for you but what about when the tables are turned?
I write interracial romance. Focusing on the heroine being a black heroine or she can be afro-Latina. But here's my thing, when folks hear that the heroine is biracial, why do they shun her? Why are they ready to take away her blackness? All of a sudden, the reader cannot connect because she doesn't have the same hair texture or she has different colour eyes but does that mean she's not like you? That she doesn't deserve the same platform as you do?
The heroines that I write, marry the men who are of different ethnic backgrounds like European, Pacific Islanders, Hawaiians, etc. The list can go on and on really. When they marry these men they have babies. Those babies grow and have their own voices and stories to say. So shouldn't they deserve this? Shouldn't they be given the opportunity to feel like the true black queen that they are?
Don't rob them of who they are. They don't deserve that.
For me, I write to give every type of black woman a chance at being number one because she deserves it.
Tell me what you think about this! I want to hear you!
